2009 Annual Conference & Marketplace - June 24-26 in St. Paul!

Coping with cutbacks and planning for tomorrow may seem like opposing forces, but this years LMC Annual Conference & Marketplace aims to help cities do just that.

Budgets are tighter than ever. Cities are reeling from LGA & MVHC Unallotment cuts and wondering how to maintain levels of service citizens expect. The League has been busy gathering information and experts to make sure Minnesota Cities have all the information and resources they need to make good decisions and weather the storm.

The Annual Conference this year will address the most pressing issues facing cities today. Cost-cutting measures, leading through difficult times, green initiatives, foreclosures, and alternative revenue sources will all be included in the programming and will be topics of roundtables and discussions as well.

Cities need good leadership and smart decision-making now more than ever. We plan to bring you the best and most up-to-date programming possible to help your city through this difficult time. Being in St. Paul, we will also manage to make sure you enjoy yourself and all the sights, tastes, smells and sounds our capitol city has to offer! Whether you can bring the family and make a vacation around your visit, or come strictly to learn survival skills, we hope you'll plan to join us in June.

Stay tuned to learn more about conference programming and cost-saving opportunities to attend the conference. Registration will be available in March at http://www.lmc.org/
